The Bachelor Party

I just got back from dropping my husband and his cousin off at their second strip club of the evening. They were supposed to be meeting up with the cousin's friends for a bachelor party, but they lost contact at some point in time. I stayed with them for the first club. It's a really small club that my husband used to work at (he was he DJ), so I feel comfortable enough going there. I knew most of the girls and had spent evenings there before while he was working. It is now under new ownership, and, even though it looks a lot nicer now, it's not as enjoyable and the music sucked. Plus, there's been a lot of turnover, so I didn't know as many of the chicks. That left me with nothing to do and no one to talk to as they stuff bills in garters. Oh, well.

So, I am currently at home with all of the kids asleep while I try to stay awake long enough to go pick them up when they are ready to leave or broke, whichever happens first. In the meantime, I thought I'd try to figure this stuff out again. I still can't view my post that I created yesterday. I have no idea if it is actually published out there somewhere. If someone happens to read this, please comment just so that I know that it is working.

Thanks! :)

This was supposed to be easy.

I found a wonderful site last week that introduced me to something called "blogging". I didn't have time to fully explore it then, but I saw enough to make me realize that I might like to try this in my reading classes next year. However, upon further exploration, I've discovered that it doesn't seem to be as easy as the articles claimed. Maybe it's just because it's Friday evening and I'm burnt from a long week of teaching middle school kids. The fact that it is May and we only have 15 days of school left doesn't help either. On a more positive note, a saw a blog that was posted by a second grader in Ohio. Surely if second graders can figure it out, I can as well.
